Hello Everyone! We wanted to give a few important updates. We are on track for being fully functional the first week of November. We have been taking reservations for available times after then, however we do continue to have shipping delays with some of the supplies needed to complete the upstairs of the doghouse.

We will actually have a little smaller capacity than we had before, as we have focused on expanding dog areas instead of increasing volume of dogs boarded. the difference isnt huge, but we wanted to let you guys know we havent actually "expanded" as much as we have tried to improve the flow of dog activities here. The flow of daycare availability will be impacted more than anything during holidays and weekends. While I will be offering more training advice and direction than i probably have in the past - it will mainly be on line and through our free monthly sessions. The first monthly session we will set will be in November and we are close to naming the topic, setting the date, and allowing folks to reserve a spot.

We also had our first conversation with the folks at the Grayson Shelter about our Annual Thanksgiving we have held at the Shelter for the last 7 years. This would be our 8th year doing Thanksgiving with them and we plan to do it again this year. We are working on giving details on how we will approach it this year to keep it safe for everyone while allowing volunteers and participants to have more involvement than last years (which was impacted by COVID - truth be told we just didnt know how to handle it last year better than doing takeout and a dinner for residents). This year we will be much more closer to what we have done in previous years.
